Wyntr's Dark Celestial
Celeste is from Wyntr's "C" litter and has many of the virtues passed down to her from both of her parents, Quick and Beautiful. She has the same nice outline, bone, angulation, a lovely blue-black coat with correct texture, straightness, density and length as well as a dark undercoat and symmetrical markings very similar to her dam's. Celeste's pedigree is a line-breeding which brings together top Welsh, UK and Finnish import lines in combination with some of the best established American lines.
She also has a sweet expression, a pretty front and very good overall 'typiness' which she has passed on to her kids.
Although she excelled in performance training and was highly evaluated in conformation, Celeste did not enjoy her show ring experiences, so was retired and has remained at Wyntr as a companion and to contribute her wonderful qualities to the line.
Celeste was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in her chest in March of 2020, so she was made comfortable and happy until she told us it was her time, and we helped her leave us peacefully on December 19, 2020. She was likely the last of the Wyntr "C" litter.
If Barn Hunt had existed, she would have excelled, as she had a strong prey drive, and on more than one occasion helped her brother Cowboy catch feral rats that made the mistake of entering our property. She shared this drive, along with her good looks, and personality with her children and grandchildren.
As a youngster, she was nicknamed 'Celeste the Pest" for her antics, but as she matured she became Celeste the Best, because she really was such a good girl.
Cancer sucks.
Until we meet again, sweet girl.
