U-CH Wyntr-Coedwig Dark Aurora
Rah, age 9.
Rah Rah was from the Wyntr "A" litter. She was called "Rah Rah" because of her wonderful 'cheerleader' personality. She was always ready for something fun. Rah's winning attitude and excellent movement quickly gained her 3 Best Females and 2 BOBs at UKC shows to gain her UKC championship. In her last UKC outing she added a Grand Champion point to her wins. In spite of her success in the UKC ring, Rah Rah did not have the ideal outline and head type for AKC judging in the breed, so was mostly overlooked during her brief career in that venue.
At age seven she was diagnosed with intervertebral disk disease and moderate hip dysplasia. For these reasons she was retired from conformation and performance showing, She was never bred and remained a much loved lifetime resident at Wyntr until a Chemodectoma (heart tumor) and complications of liver failure took her from us at age 13.
Rah's only littermate Avalanche was also reported to have had spinal problems at age 8 which required more than one surgery.
