A Little Information based on FAQs
Currently there are no puppies, (or adults) available for placement at Wyntr. Because we breed so infrequently, a waiting list for an upcoming litter usually isn't started until we are sure puppies will actually be available. Otherwise we will give referrals to other breeders.
A great place to find Cardigan breeders is the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America's Breeders Directory, where they also have a Cardi Wanted application form. Here's the link:

If you are on Facebook, there's a great discussion group called Cardigan Welsh Corgi Purebred Information. They don't allow any soliciting, but there are many posts and discussions about finding the right breeder, questions to ask, discussion about breed traits, photos, advice, etc.

If you are actually interested in getting a Pembroke Welsh Corgi (the other, more popular corgi breed), you can check the PWCCA membership directory.

They also have links to regional clubs which have directories to find local breeders.

Something that is important no matter which breed, or breeder you choose, is health testing. The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) maintains a searchable database to find dogs who have had health tests done, or submitted through them. Not all breeders will use OFA, so if they aren't listed, be sure to request proof of health testing, which should include DNA test results, and other screening, not just a regular health check by a veterinarian.

Another great way to meet breeders and their dogs in person is at a dog show, but with Covid, many shows have been cancelled or postponed. It still might be possible to visit at shows, but be sure to follow guidelines for personal safety. MB-F hosts many shows in the US. Click on your state to find All Breed (AB in Type column) shows near you.

Hope this helps you find the perfect companion for your family!
