Tried to share this image directly in a Facebook post on the SC-L discussion group, but it wouldn't work properly, so I have created this blog post for it.

This is a work in progress, originally intended as part of the Illustrated Standard on the Cardigan Commentary International (CCI) website.

Also working on a more comprehensive study of Cardigan gait and struture which I hope to eventually share, but here's one image intended to illustrate two important parts of the gait cycle at a trot.  One phase is when the dog is in full reach/extention and the other is during foot impact and 'drive' when weight and balance is shifted from one pair of legs to the other as the body is pushed forward.

Very cool. You should be able to post a link to this blog on the Showcardi-L Discussion Group.
